as the Adventurers’ Club explores

South Coast Botanic Garden!

The South Coast Botanic Garden is an 87-acre nature park located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, which is now home toover 200,000 plant species.  It is an ideal environment for our band of intrepid adventurers.  There are desert and forest landscapes to explore, numerous pathways to venture upon, hidden vales and sweeping vistas, and photo backdrops to complement just about any type of adventurer you choose to be.

We will arrive between 10 and 11 a.m. for a preliminary stroll around the open areas near the entrance and viewing of the Rose Garden; return to the entry area at noon where your hosts will lead all to a designated shady picnic area with tables & chairs (you can bring your own goodies or purchase them at the concession stand within the Garden), followed by a deeper dive into the highways and byways of the garden in search of those not-to-be-missed photo ops.
