Passementerie: A Live Online Class with Kenneth D. King

Join us as Kenneth teaches how to make passementerie embellishments with cords and other decorative elements. Learn how to manipulate the trims to create a sample of the work, all hands-on!

Meet the instructor: Kenneth D. King is a sewing and couture expert and an adjunct instructor at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in Manhattan and teaches fitting and couture sewing techniques at his studio in New York City and around the United States. Kenneth produces unique, made-to-measure pieces for women and men and limited-edition pieces for boutiques. He has designed pieces for celebrities like Elton John, and his work is in the permanent collections of several museums, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and San Francisco’s DeYoung Museum, as well as in many private collections.
